What is Sherpa?
Sherpa is an AI-powered journaling app for athletes. It helps you be more intentional with your training, reflect on what’s working or what needs improvement, and build real progress over time. Whether you’re training to compete or just trying to improve your skills, Sherpa guides you to train with intention, reflect after, and get better faster.
Who is it for?
Sherpa is for athletes who want to get better faster. That includes professional competitors, dedicated hobbyists, and anyone who enjoys being thoughtful about their improvement journey. If you care about how you train, we built Sherpa for you.
How does it work?
Sherpa gives you structured prompts after every training session. You can reflect on what went well and what could improve. The app saves your entries, and gives you AI-powered Insights to highlight trends. It’s like having a coach in your pocket to help you make sense of the progress and stay on track.
What makes Sherpa different?
Sherpa has guided and structured journaling prompts, backed by sports psychology. Rather than focusing too heavily on habits and data, we focus on helping you be more intentional about your training, learning from every session, and guiding your focus for the next session. AI-powered Insights turn your reflections into lessons, rather than a log.
Is it free?
Yes. Sherpa is free. You can set intentions for training, reflect after, and get AI-powered Insights.
Can you journal about any sport?
Yes, you can use Sherpa for any sport. Or any endeavor where you set an intention for your session and want to reflect on how it went afterward. For now, Sherpa is designed for you to journal about one sport or discipline, but being able to use it for multiple sports or disciplines is coming soon.
What kinds of questions will it ask me?
Each session takes about one or two minutes to fill out. Typical questions include: What’s your goal, plan, or intention for practice? What went well? What do you want to improve at? Coming soon, we’ll be adding the ability to track post-training metrics like Rated Perceived Effort (RPE), Session Duration (Minutes), and Focus.
Do I need to journal every day?
No. Sherpa is here to support your rhythm. Some people reflect after every session. Others check in once or twice a week. There’s no pressure. Just a gentle way to stay connected to your goals.
Is it private?
Yes. Your entries are yours. We don’t share your data, and we don’t sell anything based on what you write. We want Sherpa to feel like a trusted guide on your journey.
What's coming soon?
We’re working on new features like: Sunday Insights – a weekly Insight sharing trends over the past week, two weeks, and month. Milestone Reflections – a micro insight for a user’s first, second, third, fifth, tenth, and twentieth journal entry. Goals – a place to write, edit, and review your goals. Review Goals – a place for you to check-in on your progress toward your goals. Post Training Metrics – track Rated Perceived Effort (RPE), Duration (Minutes), and Focus
